ABRACADABRA™ SERIES HYDRANGEA

Orb Star
Hydrangea macrophylla Abracadabra™ Orb 'Hordo' US PPAF Hydrangea macrophylla Abracadabra™ Star 'Horabstra' US PPAF
Growing Tips: Plant in moist, well drained soil. Supplemental water may be needed in hot weather. May need part shade in very hot climates. Prune as needed immediately after flowering: this plant blooms on 'old wood' - the previous season's growth. Note that heavy pruning is usually not needed. It may need winter protection in colder climates. Flowers may be shifted to blue in more acidic soils or with the addition of aluminum sulfate to the soil.

Orb: Funky mop-head flowers emerge green and
peach and mature to a hot pink. Black satin stems add to the fun! Flower color
can be pushed to blue with the addition of aluminum sulfate to the soil.
If you're looking for an unusual hydrangea with bright color, this is the plant
for you! The distinctive black stems are interesting even when the plant is not
in bloom, and when it does bloom, look out! Bold, bright flowers really light up
the summer garden. Distinctive black stems contrast with the hot pink
summer mophead flowers. Prune to shape after flowering. Protect over winter in
north. Good for cutting. Bright summer color. Unusual black stems.
