Autumn Fire Sedum

A more 'stable' and brilliantly colored "Autumn Joy".  Shows color sooner and does not "fall apart" in the middle.

Zone 3 through Zone 10.
Full sun, but can tolerate light shade.
Soil : Well-drained, but can tolerate poorer soils.

This very tough late summer through fall blooming perennial has become a worldwide favorite for both its beauty and ease of maintenance. The flowers begin showing a broccoli green color during summer. As the summer progresses, the flowers become pinker until they turn a beautiful russet tone by fall. The seed heads can be left on the plants for winter color. They add attractive texture in a snow-covered garden.
