Zones 4-8

Dwarf form excellent for  Foundation, Border, Mass Planting reaching 12-18" tall and not more than 30" wide.  Maintains color all through the summer.  New leaves emerge dark green and quickly turn a crimson-burgundy.  Best color in full sun.  Tolerates dry conditions.  No "wild" branches!  Not a good choice for a hedge due to low mounded habit.  Good for low borders and accent plantings.  Will not get out of control.

Soil Type Preferred: Sandy, Well-Drained, Drought/Dry

Fruit Color: Very limited seed production.
Outstanding Fall Color: Good winter interest.
