The Double Play Series - A new line of colorful Spiraea
One of the main goals of the Proven Winner ColorChoice program is to extend a shrubs color interest beyond the date of flowering. The new Double Play Series does just that. In addition to vibrant flowers, these new introductions turn a double play by providing absolutely stunning foliage especially in the spring when they first break bud.

In addition to vibrant pink summer flowers, Double Play Artist
has rich purple red new growth in spring. You'll get months of vibrant color
from this adaptable, easy to grow plant. It maintains its compact, mounded shape
with very little pruning, and has more vivid color than other Spiraea varieties.
Little maintenance needed. Trim to shape in early spring. Apply a controlled
release fertilizer in spring.

yellow foliage. This plant has the larges flowers we've every seen on a spiraea.
Foliage glows orange in the spring. Adaptable and easy to grow, this is a great
plant for landscaping. Tuck it into your existing mixed border or use it as a
mass planting.

This compact, low mounded plant has vibrant golden foliage and
an abundance of pure pink summer flowers. It adds easy, season long color to
gardens with very little effort. Double Play Artist maintains its compact
mounded shape with very little pruning, and has much brighter color than other
gold spiraea varieties.
Little needed. Apply a controlled release fertilizer in early spring, and trim
if needed to shape.
