Early Fall Colors

The Ninebark is a hardy native shrub with rounded clusters of white flowers. It forms dense thickets that provide excellent wildlife cover. It is very drought tolerant and adaptable to a wide range of soil types.

Mature Height 7 feet
Full sun to light shade
Fall color is a bright yellow
White to pink flowers in June to July followed by red berries relished by birds and wildlife.  Important food source for songbirds.
Tolerant of drought and acidic and alkaline soil


Use:

Space at about 4 feet between plants for hedgerow or border.  Also makes an excellent specimen landscape plant.  May be sheared to shape.

Ninebark puts on a real spectacular summer show with large umbel-like clusters of white flowers that are followed by vibrant clusters of red fruits.
Eastern ninebark is fast-growing, insect & disease resistant, and drought-tolerant.

Container grown (1-2 gallon) plants are branched and shipped bare to semi bare root packed in moist packing material.
