Sorghastrum nutans
A beautiful clumping grass of medium color, turning to a showy reddish purple in the fall. Used for natural landscapes and as an ornamental grass. Grows to 5 or 6 feet tall. Very showy grass. Golden, plume-like seed heads are formed in the summer.
