Miss Ruby Butterfly Bush

This new butterfly bush is noted for its compact habit and
remarkably vivid, rich pink blooms. The distinctive magenta flowers are more
vibrant than any other buddleia variety. Attracts butterflies.
Fragrant. Deer resistant.
Full sun for best bloom. Does poorly in the shade
Height: 4-5 feet tall, 3-4 feet wide
Spacing: 4-6 feet
Hardy temp: Treat like a perennial in the north. In zone 5, most die back
to the ground, sending up new growth in the spring. Growth is rapid, once
it emerges. Cut back old growth to the ground in late fall or early
spring. As a habit, butterfly bush can be slow to emerge in the spring.
Be patient. Zone 6 and up: Prune either to the ground as above, or
cut back to a desired height.
Deadheading (removing faded blooms) will greatly increase the
number of flowers produced.
Zones: 5-10
Plants listed below are grown in one gallon nursery containers, bloomed in summer, and sent out of pot with rootball wrapped.
