Smokey blue flowers on stiff silver stems persist into early winter. An excellent drought tolerant shrubby perennial. Long stems are nice for cut arrangements. Tolerates coastal conditions. 1995 Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year.

Size Range: 3 - 6' tall x 12"-24" wide

Exposure: Full sun
Soil: Not particular, Average, Well-drained
Water Use: Drought Tolerant. Follow a regular watering schedule the first growing season to establish a strong root system.
Maintenance: Low
Care and Pruning: Can be cut down close to base in fall/winter. (We suggest this for best blooms)  Will rejuvenate itself back to full size by early summer.
