Be sure to plant this delightful pineapple scented sage! More than just ornamental, it can be used for flavoring teas and fruit salads. The leaves and flowers give off a strong pineapple fragrance when rubbed or brushed, which is sure to attract attention to visitors!
Perennial to zone 7. We have had them survive zone 5
winters on occasion.

Does best in full sun and well drained soil. Flower color is a vivid
scarlet red and they bloom almost continuously until stopped by fall frosts.
Butterflies and hummingbirds love the flowers and will give them lots of
attention, so plant this close by so you can watch the activity.
Try this in your herb garden, perennial garden. or butterfly
garden. Has a compact dwarf growth habit.

Russian perovskia atriplicifolia
Smokey blue flowers on stiff silver stems
persist into early winter. An excellent drought tolerant shrubby perennial. Long
stems are nice for cut arrangements. Tolerates coastal conditions. 1995
