A 4" starter plant will reach 12-16" the first year under good conditions.
Tall and extremely narrow, columnar growth habit. Short,
compact, bluish green foliage is evergreen. A very striking, dramatic plant when
used
as a cluster planting against a large fence or building or in formal plantings.
Zone: 4-8
This is perhaps the most popular upright landscape juniper,
forming a narrow column of tight branches carrying silvery blue foliage. It
grows rapidly, requiring little maintenance. Ice and snow resistant.
Deer don't bother it.
Very popular for landscape accents!
Ideal for use where a screen is desired, yet very little
space is available. An example is the space between a driveway and a
neighbors yard as it grows only two feet wide. Space 24" apart for a screen.
