A drought tolerant, low-growing, low-maintenance ground cover is just one use of this tough Sedum. Start some  This variety has blue-green, succulent foliage that only reaches a few inches in height.  In spring or late fall, foliage may take on a purplish color. As the weather warms, the foliage turns to a blue-grey color. In late spring to early summer, it will send up clusters of small whitish pink blooms. This variety will also tolerate some light walking.

A sun lover in mild climates, this Sedum prefers some afternoon shade in areas with extremely hot summers. Porous well-drained soil is essential. It will not tolerate wet soils.  Drought tolerant and well suited to poor soils.
