American Sweet Crab Apple

Also known as Wild Sweet Crabapple
Sweet crab is a spreading tree of small to medium size reaching 10—30 feet in
height.
The flowers are pink, fading to white, and very fragrant. The attractive
flowers resemble the common apple bloom. The Spring bloom will really
scent the May landscape.
Fruit is greenish and ripens in September. The fruit is large (1 inch diameter) and can be used to make crabapple jelly.
