This highly decorative tree not only gives you a showy flush of fragrant blooms in the spring, the burgundy-purple leaves stay true to color all season.  Followed by a VERY tasty plum (not huge) that makes fantastic jam and jelly.  We like this one so well that we have one as the center-point in our front lawn.  Fruits are about 1" in diameter.
