'Schottland' Tufted Hair Grass

Delightful, evergreen mounds of dark green grass blades set off the sturdy, wiry stalks of pendulous dense tufts of cool silvery flowers.


 Very drought hardy and  great in clumps in borders, containers, and rock gardens. A great looking hardy non-invasive grass. Clumps should be divided every three to four years to maintain appearance.  Space 10-14" apart and mulch to prevent weeds.    Will tolerate shade, but best in full sun. Never needs mowing or trimming, but can be shaped if desired.

Clump form up to 3' tall when in bloom.  Width is variable, depending on division practice.
